Eco-Dimmers

It is well known that using dimmers saves energy while extending the life of the light bulb.  Dimmers set the mood.  Dimmers help me cope with just waking up first thing in the morning.  Dimmers help keep things quiet.  They are also manual green devices.  They really do help extend lamp life and reduce energy consumption.  There are dimmer manufacturers out there that are now making dimmers that at a maximum only allow the light fixture to achieve 85% of full brightness.  This means that you when the dimmer is on full brightness it is saving you 15% of what it would be normally.  It is somewhat hard to tell the 15% difference between 100% and 85% in a room.
